I really enjoyed the movie.. A refreshing love story with real bumps.. Real life... Issa Ray as Mae and Lakeith Stanfield Michael (yeah he ummm😏.. Maybe Cougar time) He had me till he said he don't do outdoors haha......

Some say sappy... But for me.. It's exactly what I need to see and maybe everyone else too..we move so fast and want things to be an action packed movie.. But love is sometimes slow... And With so much negativity in the world I loved how the movie lingered on the love..on the touch..the gaze..the silence... The old and the new.. Flickers of the past.. But focusing on how traits are passed along until we decide to change them.
When Michal said...Why don't we blame it on the storm.. I was like see..That's how it starts...This is real life.. Haha
Wake up tomorrow hooked..
When Christina got on the bus the first time.. I felt that.. When she said..... "Don't you want more" ? I felt that... It is So true, so much time can go by.. That it feels like, too much time... I loved how they stumbled over each other when they talked.. That's real life..
This is what happens...when fear gets in the way,.This is how loss happens...unspoken words and feelings happen... And then sometimes there's an opportunity to correct it. It takes 2... 2 To make love work.. Great light hearted story... We need more of this black love on the screen.
And I ain't NEVA bought a soundtrack... Eva..👀 But I'mma have to get this..
Go see it.. Let's bring balance.. 😜
